Delete your Atlas account
How to delete your Atlas account and your data, what is removed, and what stays.
Delete it yourself, in the app
- Sign in to Atlas on the web, iPhone or Android.
- Open Profile.
- Choose Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then press the delete button.
Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone. If you have a subscription that can still renew, cancel it first (Settings, then Manage subscription). Atlas will not delete an account that can still be charged.
Cannot sign in?
Email privacy@atlaspa.app from the address on the account, with the subject "Delete my Atlas account". We confirm that the account is yours, then delete it within 30 days. For other help, see Support or write to support@atlaspa.app.
What is deleted
- Everything you created: tasks, meetings, notes, delegations, family and household data, faith and prayer entries, health and wellbeing logs, medical records, goals, diary and documents.
- Files and photos you uploaded, including avatars and medical files.
- Your profile, settings, saved keys, calendar and wearable connections.
- Your sign-in record, and the emails we had queued to your address.
- Your subscription record in Atlas.
What stays, and for how long
- Records that belong to other people and mention you, such as a task someone delegated to you. They keep their record. The link to your account is removed. A name or email address they typed themselves stays in their record.
- The log of what Atlas staff did to accounts. It holds only a random account number, never your name, email or content. It is kept.
- If you asked us to stop emailing an address, that address stays on a do-not-email list so the request keeps working.
- Paddle keeps purchase records, such as invoices, where the law requires it.
- Our database backups still hold older copies of your data.
- The voice, AI, email, calendar and wearable services we use keep what they keep under their own terms. Deleting your account does not send them a deletion request. To remove Atlas's access to your Google, Microsoft, Apple or wearable account, do it in that account's security settings.
